I designed this quilt pattern after I fell in love with "Fruity" fabric from Paintbrush Studios, but didn't know what to do with it! So like any good country girl, I filled up canning jars with it! This quilt has loads of personality. How fun would this be for a picnic? The pattern is easy to follow with picture tutorials for each block assembly step.
The pattern is for a 60 x 76 inch size. But once you know the pattern, it can really be easily adjusted to make it almost any size by adding or subtracting blocks as needed.
Fabric Yardage for 60"x76" Quilt Top:
Background - 3½ yards
Backing Fabric - 4 yards
Binding Fabric - ½ yard
Fruit Fabric in Jars - 1 ½ yards (42 piece 10” x 10” Layer Cake would work or a fat quarter variety)
Blue Ribbon Fabric - 1 yard
Gold Center of Blue Ribbon - ¼ yard
Jar Lid Fabric - ¼ yard
Air Space in Top of Jar Fabric - ⅜ yard
